I was proud and honoured to award the prize for ‘The Best Night Out’ at The London Club and Bar awards on Monday. The London Club & Bar Awards started 23 years ago, and is established as the first, largest and most important nightlife industry ceremony in the world. All the big names in nightlife attended, including “club & bar owners, promoters, DJs, event organisers, venue managers, mixologists, bartenders, showbiz impresarios, night time svengalis, dandy gentry with their glamorous entourage, glittering luminaries et al.” As promised the event and the afterparty were wild. The whole crazy Nightset team attended, so here’s a quick run down of the most exciting moments:

  • Andrew and I Arrive at the ballroom on the Red Carpet

The dress was Styled by George and made by Kiki Riki. Isn’t it gorgeous?

But who is going to save Alan? 😉

  • The Nightset Team get together!

  • We brought along presenters Jay and David, The 888 crew, George (the most amazing stylist), and Sandi from Gogglebox!

  • Smoking Shots get everyone drunk.

    Purple Nightset colours 😉

  • I got ready to hand out the Best Night Out award

Cirque le Soir and Drama Park Lane won our award for the ‘Best Night Out,’ and I couldn’t be more pleased. Check out both on the Nightset App, they’re really brilliant.

  • Look at these champions!

And then we were off to the afterparty! We’re keeping the crazy CRAZY things that went down after the event private (unless you’re on Nightset App, where everyone posted it!)

It was a really wonderful event, and it’s important Nightlife excellence is truly recognised where it exists (which is certainly does in London). London’s night time industries and venues are truly some of the best in the world. They provide 1.3 million jobs and create £66 billion annually for the UK. It’s time the government, like Nightset and the London Club and Bar awards, recognise how important they are.

Check out the #SaveNightlife and #BehindTheNight campaigns to find out what we’re doing to stand up for London’s night time industries.

Thank’s for reading, I hope to see you out soon!
