Is it just us, or is everything funner when you’re tipsy? Well, these bars are the place to go if you’re looking to shake up your Friday evenings. From Cabaret and Crazy Golf to Bacardi and Bowls, you’re sure to have a good time. Plus, if you met someone on Nightset and you’re looking for a first date with a difference, they’re a pretty cool choice too!

All Star Lanes

Still think bowling is for American teenagers and weird ex-professionals? Think again. All Star Lanes in Brick Lane have bought the booze to bowling, and we couldn’t be happier. We’d recommend getting there at ‘cheeky hour’. Between 3 and 6, you can get 5 beers for £16, a bottle of prosecco for £19, and 2-4-1 on cocktails like the Gin & Elderflower Julep Jar.

De La Bowl

Britain, it looks like we’ve been missing out. The Aussies are onto something with bowls, and this great summer game has finally come to London. Get down to Roof East in Stratford, up on the rooftop and have a go yourself at De La Bowl. They’ve bought a Hip-Hop Bowl experience to London, and it’s serious fun. Get your mates together, have a pint and get competitive.

Bought to London by the ‘Institute of Competitive Socialising’, Swingers is definitely something. It promises a ‘holy trinity’ of ‘crazy golf, street food and amazing drinks’ – and it delivers. Transport yourself for a summer evening to a 1920’s golf-club set in the English countryside and get ready to swing away.

We’d recommend combining your golf with a relaxed drinking game to make the most of the amazing cocktails on offer. There’s 5 bars, serving the likes of ‘a swinger called basil’ (Haig Club, watermelon, basil, citrus, Double Dutch Cucumber & Watermelon Soda) and a particularly nice frosé (Frozen Belsazar Rosé Vermouth, rosé wine, strawberry purée, agave syrup).

If you’re looking for a more relaxed evening, don’t worry, there’s plenty for you too. Check out London’s best rooftop bars, jazz bars and speakeasies.

Oh, and if you’re looking for something to do tonight, check out Nightset! We’ll show you the coolest parties, people and places in London.
