Resident DJ’s will be joined by Feel My Bicep’s Brassica and Harri + Domenic, who according to their website, run “one of the world’s longest running underground house night and the longest weekly house music residency on the planet” and “continue to serve up the most upfront and relevant selections of all that’s good in house and techno”. Feelings Day & Night Summer Opening: The House That Chicago Built
House lovers, there’s something for you too this weekend, and we know you’ll love it. Feelings festival are celebrating 3 years of parties, and will be covering, jackin’ house to deep house, to hip house and everything in between! Party all day and then party all night, it is a bank holiday after all. Don’t worry about travel, venues for the day and night parties are within 5 minutes walking distance of each other and close to several tube and overground stations incl. Shoreditch High Street, Liverpool Street,Hoxton and Old Street. They’ll be paying homage to three of the most important cities in dance music history, Chicago, New York & Detroit, so there a health dose of culture there if you need more of a reason to go!
This bank holiday Sunday is going to be HOT (hopefully!), but there’s no need to leave the city to get to a beach. Brixton have set one up on Brixton rooftop! The beach is open all weekend, but it’s Sunday’s party which really caught our attention. Norman Jae MBE and friends will take over the DJing and It won’t be one to miss. Party on a beach, complete with “sand, street food, cocktails and all round sunny vibes.” Take that Ibiza!
Heaven Little Gay Brother
Well, this is definitely a creative twist on the classic bank holiday garden party. Little Gay Brother at Heaven are hosting a Garden of Eden themed party, and it promises to be ‘carnage.’ With shows all night long from Little Gay Brother themselves, the description reads: “Deep inside this utopian wonderland is a blissful community who go by the name of Little Gay Brother. For one night only these bohemian creatures will be inviting you to enter the promised land…PREPARE TO BE SEDUCED BY THE SERPENT!”
Well, don’t say we didn’t warn you!
KERB does Alchemy
You’ll probably be exhausted after all the crazy parties going on in London this weekend, and we don’t blame you. So, we’ve got the perfect lazy day activity (and hangover cure) for you! Head over to London’s sunny south bank and experience Kerb’s Alchamy takeover of the Southbank centre. The event promises “Grilling, smoking, frying, charring, toasting, chopping, stirring – and the space is colourful, drenched in garlands and full of big communal tables for people to eat at and spend the day working their way through the multitude of beers and cocktails we are turning out…” Sounds like the perfect way to spend a bank holiday Monday to us!
