We don’t care what anyone says – silent discos are fun and that’s the end of it. You can listen to the music you want to, sing at the top of your voice, and if you want, take off your headphones and laugh at everyone.
Oh, and one of the best things about silent discos in London is you can throw one almost anywhere if you’re creative. We’ve seen parties in the natural history museum, waterloo cellars and shoreditch rooftops. But this August they’ve really stepped up their game.
Friday evening we went to one of the best discos I've ever been too, Silent Disco at the Sea Life London Aquarium 🐠 I have to say it felt a bit magical to dance with all the fishes 💫 . #nightout #london #uk #sealifeaquarium #sealife #fishes #oceaninvaders #sealifesilentdisco #silentdisco #glowingheadphones #headphones #neon #dance #dj #shark #worldtravelig @travelgurlz #travelgirl #travel #fun #beautiful #travelgoals #me #girl #glowsticks
Sharking takes on a whole new meaning at this party. Get to Sea Life and party the night away under the gorgeous aquarium and it’s beautiful sea life. There are multiple pop up bars, music channels and plenty of fish in the sea to keep you occupied. Plus, they’ve thrown in a tour of the new jellyfish exhibition if you need a little time out.
The 148-year-old Cutty Sark ship has a pretty crazy history, and this might just be one of the craziest additions to it yet. The early 19th Century British Clipper will play host to a massive silent disco this August, and it’s not one to miss. Get away from the crowd, get tipsy and explore what basically is a giant party pirate ship between 8 and 10pm. After 10, move to the dance floor and make the most of the three channels and bars.
You’ve probably heard of the Silent Disco at the Shard, Western Europe’s highest building. If you haven’t been yet, though, you’re missing out. Party on floor 69, surrounded by some of the best views of the city skyline London has to offer. If that’s not enough for you, venture onto the Sky Deck up on floor 72, and really get a feel for the city. Drinks are available inside (and true to form, they’re lovely), so go for a night you aren’t likely to forget any time soon.
Any cool silent discos we missed? Let us know in the comments.
